My client was arrested by officers from the Melbourne Police Department and charged with Battery after he allegedly punched a bouncer during a bar fight in Downtown Melbourne. The crime of Battery is a first degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail. I contacted the intake prosecutor and explained that my client was actually the one who was attacked for no reason and never touched or struck anyone. The State dismissed the charge.
My client was arrested in Merritt Island, Florida by deputies from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and charged with four counts of Paraphernalia, which is classified as a first degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year. He was also charged with one count of Possession of Cannabis. I was able to get the entire case dismissed because the search that led to the cannabis and paraphernalia violated my client’s Fourth Amendment rights.

The deputy stated in his report that my client was unable to maintain a single lane, smelled of alcohol, was unsteady on his feet, refused to perform the field sobriety exercises, and refused a breath test. I was able to successfully negotiate with the prosecutor who agreed to drop the charge to a Reckless Driving.
My client was arrested in Cape Canaveral, Florida and charged with Battery Domestic Violence after she allegedly struck her husband in the neck and kicked him in the ribs during the course of a domestic altercation. Battery Domestic Violence is a first degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail. The victim did not wish to pursue the charges and the State ultimately dismissed the case.
My client was arrested in Satellite Beach, Florida after he was pulled over while riding his bicycle without a light. The Satellite Beach police officer allegedly smelled alcohol and requested that my client perform field sobriety exercises and my client refused. The officer charged him with Driving Under the Influence and Resisting an Officer Without Violence. Both charges were dismissed.
