Criminal Defense Representation in
Brevard County, Florida
My client got into a heated argument with her boyfriend and it became physical. He called 911 after she allegedly jumped on his back, put him into a headlock, and even headbutted him in his ribcage. Although the Defendant’s boyfriend did not want to have her arrested, deputies from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office decided to arrest her anyway and charged her with Battery Domestic Violence. I was retained by my client and was able to get the charge dismissed less than two weeks after being hired.
My client and his became involved in a verbal altercation as they were driving together in Rockledge, Florida. According to the police report, the Defendant grabbed the victim’s arm while she was driving and slammed it down on the center console multiple times. The victim stopped the vehicle and ordered the Defendant out of the vehicle. A few minutes later the Defendant was stopped by Rockledge Police Department Officers and arrested for Battery Domestic Violence. I was able to get the case dismissed approximately three weeks after being retained.
My client’s wife filed a Petition For Protection Against Domestic Violence against my client and alleged that he had physically abused their 8-year-old son. The judge issued a Temporary Injunction and my client retained me for the injunction hearing. The judge dismissed the injunction after hearing because the Petitioner failed to present credible evidence to establish that my client abused his son.
My client had a restricted driver license. The restriction limited his driving to work purposes only. My client was stopped for excessive speeding by an officer from Rockledge Police Department at approximately 12:43 a.m., and my client told the officer that he was driving home from a co-worker’s house. The officer cited him for Violation of Restriction and Speeding 20-29 over the limit. Both charges were dismissed.
